Poem - Ode to Wolf Bay Lodge
This is a poem written by the Lodge's cook, Karen Pretzer:
Ode to Wolf Bay Lodge
A place so properly named
For on more than one occasion
A wild friend appears
And poses to be framed
The peace is so majestic
You never would have thought
The fishing could be so wild
In her web you will be caught
But you must release the big ones
As they do not belong to us
Their home is deep within
The waters they so trust
If you are so lucky
She's yours alone to roam
So take care of her beauty
And you'll always feel at home
As you leave for your departure
The shores you will adore
So do not be too surprised
When you're longing to come for more
